Parental Control is finally being done right by this company. Their newest offering, Free Time Unlimited for Kids, truly understands our needs, as parents, to make sure our kids read a lot. But that also understands our need for parental control of what they read. This is aimed at younger children.
This company, which I promote all the time, because it is always the least expensive, and up-to-date on everything you need is phenomenal! Their delivery prices are, quite often, free and they deliver within a very short time period. Now, this new promotion started January 3, 2018, so I’m just starting to promote it now. I think it is great!
FreeTime Unlimited is an all-in-one subscription for kids that offers unlimited access to thousands of kid-friendly books, movies, TV shows, educational apps, and games.
They have a group of books that are age appropriate from ages 3-5, 6-8 and 9-12. So, these books are aimed mostly for younger children. They are from such well known publishers as Disney, Nickelodeon, Sesame Street and others.
FreeTime Unlimited is delivered to your children within Amazon FreeTime, the best-in-class parental control suite included on Fire Tablets, Kindle eReaders, Fire TV, and available for download on Android phones and tablets. So, they can have it in the car.
Following are some of the really neat things built into this subscription
Starting from the beginning ages, kids can search by using pictures to tap on books about things they want to read, like “Frozen or Dinosaurs, or Puppies”. Thus, three year olds will have no problem accessing what they want to see.
While in FreeTime, kids do not have access to social media and can’t make in-app purchases without parental approval.
FreeTime lets parents set daily limits, or restrict certain categories – like games and video – while leaving unlimited time for reading.
FreeTime Smart Filters ensure that your child sees age-appropriate content within FreeTime Unlimited. We use input from Common Sense Media and from parents like you to ensure that pre-teens don’t get the baby stuff and little kids don’t see the scary stuff. Parents can also adjust Smart Filter settings to tailor the experience for each child.
With Learn First, parents can block access to games and cartoons until after educational goals are met. Using Bedtime, parents can control when FreeTime shuts down for the day.
This One, I really love!
Parents can create up to four individual child profiles, customize each child’s access to content from the parent’s library, and decide which FreeTime Unlimited titles will be viewable in each profile. It’s like giving each kid their very own, personalized tablet. A password helps keep kids in FreeTime.
Using a Kindle Fire, you can:
Download your child’s favorite videos, apps and books for access even when you don’t have wifi. When an Internet connection is unavailable, your child will automatically see available content that has been downloaded to their FreeTime profile.
And this is really helpful for dinnertime discussions
The Parent Dashboard lets parents discover the books, videos, educational apps, and games their kids enjoy in FreeTime. They even have something called Discussion Cards. These cards help parents start conversations and make connections with kids about their reading history. How neat it is to be able to say, so what did you think about what Barney did when….. Your kids will be amazed!
I’m not telling you everything, but there is even more that you will like about this awesome opportunity to encourage your children to read and explore. All the while knowing they are safe from inappropriate content.
